Reviews and Ratings System

After each completed service, the platform prompts for a review:

  • Buyers can leave a rating (usually 1-5 stars or a numeric score) and a text review about their experience.

  • Sellers might also rate buyers (two-way review systems help maintain quality on both sides, although service platforms often focus on rating providers).

  • These reviews are stored in the platform and key metrics (like average rating, number of reviews) can be anchored on-chain. For example, CRE8 could maintain an on-chain reputation score contract that updates the provider’s score after each completed gig.

  • New users visiting the marketplace can see a provider’s rating and read feedback, increasing trust.

Over time, this builds a trust layer. Unlike Web2 platforms where if a user leaves, their reputation is gone, CRE8’s approach (with on-chain data) means a provider can prove their track record anywhere. This fosters a merit-based marketplace where providers with great service naturally stand out.
