Reviews and Ratings System
After each completed service, the platform prompts for a review:
Buyers can leave a rating (usually 1-5 stars or a numeric score) and a text review about their experience.
Sellers might also rate buyers (two-way review systems help maintain quality on both sides, although service platforms often focus on rating providers).
These reviews are stored in the platform and key metrics (like average rating, number of reviews) can be anchored on-chain. For example, CRE8 could maintain an on-chain reputation score contract that updates the provider’s score after each completed gig.
New users visiting the marketplace can see a provider’s rating and read feedback, increasing trust.
Over time, this builds a trust layer. Unlike Web2 platforms where if a user leaves, their reputation is gone, CRE8’s approach (with on-chain data) means a provider can prove their track record anywhere. This fosters a merit-based marketplace where providers with great service naturally stand out.
